About me

Sanket standing outdoors with a city square behind him

Chitrakar

Sanket's practice is rooted in close observation, travel, and the quiet discipline of making work from life. His paintings move between plein air landscapes, portrait studies, figurative work, and composed studio pieces.

Each work begins with atmosphere: the fall of light, a paused expression, a street corner, or a memory held long enough to become form. The result is calm, direct, and intentionally personal.

What I do?

I build each body of work through direct study, patient editing, and a clear visual rhythm, from outdoor observation to finished studio pieces.

1

Painting

Original oil, acrylic, and mixed media works shaped by landscape, memory, gesture, and atmosphere.

2

Plein air studies

Outdoor studies made on location, preserving the changing light and movement of each place.

3

Portraiture

Classical and expressive portrait work focused on structure, character, and quiet emotional presence.

4

Composition studies

Layered formal studies that explore balance, color, rhythm, and the movement of the viewer's eye.

5

Commissions

Personal artwork commissions developed through conversation, references, and a carefully considered brief.
