About Chitrakarsanket

I’m a software engineer by profession and a fine artist by passion, driven by a deep love for oil painting. While my days may involve logic and lines of code, my creative heart lies in brushstrokes and color. My work spans landscapes inspired by nature’s quiet drama, portraits that capture fleeting expressions, figure paintings grounded in emotion and form, and abstract compositions where imagination takes the lead. Painting outdoors—en plein air—is where I feel most connected to the world, translating light, atmosphere, and energy onto canvas in real time. For me, art is both a counterbalance to the digital world and a bridge between structure and soul.

While I spend my workdays in the world of technology, painting is where I truly find myself. What began as a childhood curiosity has grown into a serious pursuit—one that brings me calm, energy, and creative fulfillment. I specialize in oil painting and enjoy working across subjects like landscapes, village life, portraits, figures, and abstract ideas. Much of my work is created outdoors, where I feel most connected to nature and my surroundings. Though I’ve had no formal training, years of self-study and persistent practice have shaped my artistic voice. I’ve exhibited my work in Pune and other cities, and it's been deeply rewarding to see it resonate with people—even gaining appreciation from international audiences. For me, art is more than expression—it’s a way to stay grounded, reflect on life, and share stories that connect us all.

In Demand Abroad: Giving Expression to Inner Creativity
An IT Engineer Who Pursued His Passion for Painting

Pimpri, June 11 – IT engineers are often known for their technical contributions, but some also carve a space for their creative expression. Whether it's singing, writing, photography, or painting—many are pursuing their passions beyond the screen. One such example is an IT engineer from Wakad, Sanket Kurude, who has embraced painting as a serious pursuit. Despite a full-time job, he has been showcasing his talent in exhibitions and is gaining recognition, including interest from abroad.

In a recent interview, Sanket shared:

"I recently held a solo exhibition in Pune. I'm also preparing for an exhibition in Balgandharva. Painting brings me peace and fresh creative energy."
"Even though I work in software development, I always make time to paint. Painting is not just a hobby—it’s a deeply emotional journey for me. I love painting nature, village life, wildlife, and even abstract concepts."
"Through my exhibitions, I’ve had the chance to connect with many art lovers. It’s helped me grow as an artist and gain confidence. I’m happy that my art is reaching not just local audiences but international collectors too.”

Sanket paints using oil colors and prefers to work in an open environment—especially outdoors. He captures rural life, scenic landscapes, and the simple beauty of everyday life with authenticity and affection. Despite coming from a humble background in a small village, his determination and consistent effort have helped him make a name for himself in the art world.

"I didn’t take any formal training in art. It all started as a childhood interest. Over time, I studied various styles and improved my technique through practice and online resources," Sanket says.

He credits his success to his commitment, hard work, and the support of friends and mentors. His story is an inspiring example for young professionals who wish to balance career with creative passion.
